Lady Bear sophomore guard Karly Buer scored a career-high 25 points last Sunday against Illinois State, proving her starting role the past three games.

After a disappointing loss to Southern Illinois last week, who broke a 24-game MVC losing streak that game, coach Nyla Milleson had been searching the bench for a game-changing third scorer.

Along with Buer, sophomores Desiree Phillips and Bry Snow received starting nods, scoring nine points a piece during the 84-70 win over Indiana State.
